John Minch is Chief Executive of Imagem UK and worldwide CEO of Boosey & Hawkes. He has responsibility for digital and business development across the Group.
John has run Boosey & Hawkes, the publisher of Britten, Stravinsky, Bartok and Strauss, since 2001. In 2003 he led a public to private management buyout of the company. In 2008 B&H was sold to Imagem.
John has been a director of the MPA since 2002 and of MCPS since 2005. For PRS, he is an elected director of the Executive Board (one of two independent publisher directors) and a member of the Remuneration/ Nomination Committee, Distribution, and Licensing committees. He is a director of Impel.
John has a degree in Classics from University College London and an MBA from Manchester Business School. Prior to joining B&H, John ran a division of Reed Elsevier publishing trade directories and business magazines. And before that, worked in advertising.
