Ann Hampton Callaway

Ann Hampton Callaway has written over 200 songs for television, Broadway and some of the top performers in pop and jazz today. She has received international acclaim from her theme "The Nanny Named Fran" for the CBS comedy hit, THE NANNY, starring Fran Drescher, which Ann also performed for the series. Other TV themes include DAY'S END, CABARET BEAT, THE JIM J AND TAMMY FAY SHOW, and E! Entertainment's NICK SCOTTI'S BLUE COLLAR STYLE. Ann's songs have been featured on five Barbra Streisand CDs as well as her Emmy Award-winning TV special, TIMELESS. She received a platinum record for her world peace anthem recorded on Streisand's CD HIGHER GROUND, which debuted nationally at #1. Ann's songs have been included on numerous of her own recordings and have been performed and recorded by Liza Minnelli, Peter Nero, Karrin Allyson, Donna McKechnie, Harvey Fierstein, Lillias White, David Campbell, Meg Christian and Ann's sister, Liz Callaway. Ann made her screen debut in December 2005 singing "Come Rain Or Come Shine" in Robert De Niro's film, THE GOOD SHEPHARD.  She also acted alongside Queen Latifah in the January 2006 film, LAST HOLIDAY.  She is the winner of ASCAP's "Johnny Mercer Songwriting Award" and her songs are represented by Williamson Music.
