Careers at Concord
You’ve been called passionate and ethical. You know the importance of excellent work and enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues located around the world. You want to work for a company that is growing and that offers the same for your career. The bottom line is that you value your vinyl collection more than almost anything that you own. You have a very succinct list of your favorite Americana, metal, electronic/dance, rock, blues, and jazz artists and possibly a list of Broadway musicals that you can sing from downbeat to finale. You know the value of a good songwriter in any of the genres listed above.
In 1972, Lincoln Mercury dealership owner Carl Jefferson started Concord Jazz to give a label home to so many great jazz artists that were left without one. Many incarnations and 45 years later, Concord is the independent worldwide leader in the development, acquisition, and management of recorded music, music publishing, and theatrical performance rights. Mr. Jefferson wouldn’t recognize the new Concord Music, but he surely would be proud of what we’re doing.
